This week we tackled a major flooring project for a customer in St Helens. Initially, the job was to repair some floorboards and lay laminate throughout the downstairs of the house. However, upon closer inspection, we discovered that the joists and floorboards were badly damaged by damp and needed to be replaced entirely.
We started by fitting new joists with DPC to prevent any further rot and re-bricking the supporting wall. Then, we leveled the floor between the conservatory and living room to ensure a smooth and even surface. Finally, we installed laminate flooring throughout the entire downstairs and fitted new skirts in the middle room.
The end result was a stunning transformation that left our customer blown away. They were thrilled with the new look and feel of their home.
